Today we returned to the sidewalk of more than 500 meters covered with grass and trash of a crowded neighborhood more than 50km from where I live. We continued working on the sidewalk from a few days ago, it seems that the people here are not conscious when they continue to dump trash on this grassy sidewalk, they throw bricks, stones and broken glass onto the sidewalk like a garbage dump. While we were working, some neighbors across the street said “Be careful, because this area is inhabited by “Cobras”. We left everything to finish the job and then the sidewalk was clean, it started to get dark. When we returned home, the street lights were on, cars were parked all over the street to rest and eat right next to the sidewalk.
As usual, we cleared the grass, sorted the inorganic waste into the trash, then dumped the grass and organic waste into the wasteland to decompose. I did not put the grass in the trash because it would be overloaded and make it difficult for the garbage collectors. We can only contribute a small part to help the community. My wish is to save enough money soon to buy more tools and machines that can help work faster, to clean more places.
